These cute little birds were in a box of glass I purchased at an auction, they look Murano to me but I am not an expert at Italian Glass. The bodies are a white opalescent and they have gold flecks on teh beaks an bases. I can not find any signatures or marks on them. They were in a box with a couple other pieces I am posting asking the same question.
Thank you for your help.
Have not see little birds like these before -- but the *Eyes* look right for Murano. See what others have to say -- but I am thinking you did Okay. They are SWEET !!
I think Rose is on the money (she also knows lost more about Murano than me lol!)
@racer4four --- LOL, I try to keep learning, but I make mistakes too. Only Human.
@Tbone - You might enjoy the site below to look around there. It is Anita's GLASS ZOO. Close to the bottom of the page there is her email address. Maybe give her a holler, and send her some pics of your darling birds. I am sure she would know for sure!! She may ask you IF she can use your pics for her Glass Zoo if they are Murano.

Thank you for the link and the information. One thing with glass I have learned since I started my journey on the glass road, it is a constant learning experience and most are eager and happy to share their knowledge.
Thank you again, and happy hunting.
Could the little Darlings be *Love Birds* ???
I hadn't thought about that one. But they could be and it makes it a good story if the are.
I am still on the hunt for their maker Anita couldn't identify them either.
Glad she looked at them. Did see think they were Murano?
I am looking under Venetian too...
She had never seen them before. I have asked if she thought they were murano or venetian. I will let you know what she thinks. Thank you again for her website.
Can you post another post of these birds with some tail pics, the bottom lobed part, the very bottom underneath, and the gold flecks in it?
So far all I have found (far off in left field) are:

You could also try contacting *Svazzo* and see IF he has any ideas, or knows anything.....?

I will get some pictures here in a few, and I will check out the websites
Thank you for your help
Wow Antiquerose how did you find these pictures. I have been looking for days, obviously not in the correct place. I have contacted Svasso also to see if they can help with this mystery. And I put base pictures up
