These are vintage snow shoes, possibly home made or locally made because there's no maker mark. They're made from ash with gut webbing and leather bindings. They're particularly small for an adult at only 28" OAL. They might have been for a child or for hunting in denser snow in tight swampy/forested area's, which would allow for a smaller surface area.
