As I was putting a title to this, I realized I don't exactly know what to call it. It's not a spatter platter! It's not a dish nor a bowl. Not even a vase, but I know someone will let me know.
I just thought this was so pretty. It stands about 4.5" tall at the highest point and 9" across.
I found it difficult to photo it because of the 'spatters', it makes the pics look blurry...I didn't realize that would be an issue.
Anyway, this is the latest find. It's got a bit of weight to it as well. Found a couple more but at checkout, I found both the others cracked. Needless to say, you won't be seeing those.

Gorgeous....and it looks to be beautifully made! In English it's called a comport....not to be confused with 'compote' which is a French word meaning stewed fruit!

sklo42, thank you for the comment and love...I never really agreed with the use of the word compote for something like this. What about a catch-all?
