A rich red orange and white mottled cased glass vase with applied handles and feet. I acquired this vase with the information that it was Welz. If this attribution is incorrect please feel free to correct. Thank you for looking. Due to unsure attributions and many different glass companies it feels safer to be more general in my classification. So I'll make this a bohemian/Czech.

I gave it to a friend for a retirement gift. But it was roughly 5 in. tall.

Although a similar shape was made by Harrach, and possibly others, I have never seen an example of this decor linked to Harrach or anyone else, by anything other than pure supposition. For now, unless supportable research indicates differently, I believe the décor is by Welz. This style of Honeycomb décor can be found on a variety of easily identifiable shapes which I believe were only produced by Welz. Nice example.

Smiata, what a lovely vase. I have several pieces in this same decor, and believe firmly that they are Welz, based on current research and other examples of vases I have seen. I love the handles on this one - thanks for sharing it! :)

I want to thank everyone for the active participation in the discussion of my vase. Tho opinions differ, it is really quite invigorating to have something so controversial. Unfortunately, said vase was given to a lovely lady as a gift. I hope no one minds that by deleting most of the more heated discussion I would lay to rest any further issues on the subject. I have been collecting for several years and my knowledge will forever be inept compared to the many years of combined CW experts who's knowledge have no bounds. Like all good discussions there has to have varied opinions to even classify it to be a "discussion". So to all who voiced their years of research and time, I thank you.

"I have never seen an example of this decor linked to Harrach or anyone else, by anything other than pure supposition."

That statement clearly applies to the Welz attribution too as there are no related shapes and no related decors labeled Welz.
