    I was thrilled to find this lamp locally. It's a whopping 44 inches tall. It shows a grecian woman holding the lamp above her head. The base is brass and very heavy. The globe appears to be handpainted. The wick adjustment reads" made in the US of America". I did not see any other markings.

      Antiquerose, Thank you for the nice comments. It is not electric. It is still an original oil lamp. I have not filled it with oil to see how it looks. It is one of the few still in it's original state. Yes it could very easily be brass Goddess Victorian Parlor Lamp.
