I am having trouble with my computer settings. I corrected it on my computer but when I upload it goes in sideways. Help
Ok, I have this very nice vase that I bough at an estate sale for about 6.00 so it may be something or may be nothing of value, but I really like it. It is 10 1/2" tall and has gold on the edges. it is heavy. It says: "China" then ( missing 2-3 letters) "__OH", then "Hand painted and Nippon". No cracks. I don't know anything else about it.

I don’t know if you knew this, but he word “Nippon" actually translates to “Japan", but if you go to the Nippon collector’s site or the Noritake guild, you will not find this marks Noritake “adopted” the name Nippon for the pieces made by manufacturers who produced for them.
I will see what I can find out. you could also try gotheborg.com

According to marks4antiques your beautiful piece was made for Meito China by the Nagoya Seito Sho company of Nagoya, Japan between 1890-21.
Many Noritake pieces were also made in that same area

Yes, it does. I goofed when I was typing the Japanese name. It should have said Namuri Seito Sho of Nagoya

I came across your piece when I was shopping on eBay. I would not list it under the Nippon category as most people shopping for Nippon want the Noritake and it’s predecessors. List it under antiques-ceramics or Made in Japan
