Unidentified Hand Blown Ruby Glass Tankard Pitcher

Looking to ID this hand blown ruby glass pitcher. The color is very deep and almost has an amethyst tone, but definitely ruby. I think I had red somewhere that the chemicals to make ruby glass are very toxic and not used very often. It measures 7" inches tall. Any ideas are appreciated.
