I love flappers but this one is a little hard headed. Just look at that stone expression on her face. Most flappers like Jazz but she loves rock...go figure! She thinks that I take her for granite. I was told that she used to adorn the outside of a building...what do you think???

      I love her chiseled features...
    8. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Has that stoned look with a stiff upper lip that we men fear!
    9. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
I love her gravelly voice. She loosens up after a stiff drink
      (Can we get any worse?????)
    10. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
A little cold but otherwise "faultless."

Vintagelamp, love her! Hoping she's not rock hearted... Love the way you play with words too! :-D

    13. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
      It is ALL blunder's "fault!"
    14. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Why is everything always my fault. Well, thinking in retrospect, I guess it may be fair assessment.
    15. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
I will gladly share the blame, Blunder.
    16. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
That's OK vintagelamp. I'm used to it by now, - - because it usually is my fault! LOL!
    17. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
      Don't ever change!
    18. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Meaning: Always absorb the blame? Remember, I'm one of those people who keeps those flying machines you get on, in the air. If that doesn't scare the crap out of you when you fly, - - It sure scare the hell out of me! "Pilot error" has a sweet ring to our ears.
    19. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
      I feel perfectly safe....I think.....
    20. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
That's the impression we try to convey. It's also why we keep people out of the hangar!

I went up in a small plane once with someone who was training for their license. If I can survive that I can survive anything! I was a little nervous...
    22. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Small planes (what I work on) are great! Long periods of periods of pure boredom interrupted by brief moments of stark terror! Just joking (I think). I may joke about it, but I never release a plane that I won't fly on, - - - because I have to go on the test flights. That does make you think (constantly) about everything you have done or inspected. Keeps you on your toes.
    23. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
Yes, I felt terror that day along with every bump and pitch!
    24. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
"Every bump & pitch"? Was that before you got off the ground? LOL! We soar & I can catch a ride to any island I want to go to but never quite no when the plane is returning. Got left in Martinique after my heart surgery because of a hurricane. Hitched a ride to Nevis once where the pilot didn't want me on top of the cargo of weed-eaters & I had to ride under them! Still fun & rarely a dull moment. Known as going thru life steerage class, but luv it! Who else has so much fun without being shot at? Life is a trip! Enjoy every moment of it!
    25. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
Believe me I try to enjoy every moment but it dulls in comparison to the adventures that you have had. No, the bumps and pitches were definitely in the air!
    26. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
Yeah, those happen to in rough weather!
    27. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
      I never did that again!
    28. blunderbuss2 blunderbuss2, 10 years ago
      I did, & still do.
    29. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
...and, good for you (hey that rhymed!)
