Twins Powder Jar. I love the two twins on this powder jar. I also love the green satin color. It displays very well with my other art deco pieces.

Have you tested this to see if , (and I'm pretty sure it was) produced w/ Uranium ? Which gives it it's yellow green hue. Exquisite !!
    16. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
Lambda, No, but I know that it was made with uranium. I have seen others. I will test it at some point. Thank you for the comment!!

Oh ! It'll glow alright !! And being frosted.. It'll glow even more so !
Go on ebay and order a UV LED black lite flash lite
Cheapest I've found yet $ 5.00 + free shipping in state. Of coarse it's more out of state unless u find a co. In ur state that at least distributes them (?)
I just saw them at this everything variety store for $9.00
Of coarse everything in S. F. CA. Is ttwwiiccee as expensive !!!!
    18. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
Lambda, I will look! Yes, everything in CA is much more expensive. I have some relatives there. Wish I could move my house there..it would be worth a small fortune!
    19. Lambda55, 10 years ago
Word to the wise ! There is no such thing as a geographical cure !!!
And If you look clearly enough, you'll find you won't have to look any further than your own back yard ! :..:
    20. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
      Said well, Lambda! LOL!
    21. Lambda55, 10 years ago
I have to say.. That was part of what my mother would say when I threatened to run away ! And then would quote from Proverbs of looking for it and finding it in your own back yard. Which holds true ! She had a verse for every issue !! I'm glad !
    22. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
You were fortunate to be raised by a such a wise mother, I thank God that I was raised by a wonderful mother also!
    23. Lambda55, 10 years ago
Well thank you ! I didn't want u to take it the wrong way ! And u wouldn't want the headache of transitioning EVERYTHING !!! Ether !!! :..:
    24. Lambda55, 10 years ago
Ok dear !! Just one more point of view & I'll zip it! «:..:»
Now if you were to move "out of your own back yard"..
You never would of acquired your fabulous Art Deco Frosted Vaseline glass Powder dish w/ it's wonderful sisters having a fun day ! Lid. And sitting there waiting to be lit up and glowing ! LOL!! ":.....:"
    25. vintagelamp vintagelamp, 10 years ago
Lambda, I'm going to have to get one of those flashlights so that your face will light up with a big glowing smile when you see the "Twins" lit...or perhaps half lit. I would never take your comments the wrong way but there are times that I would like to leave this state and our terrible weather!
