    Hello,
Me and my wife received this 1967 Magge Head Kane porcelain (head, hands and feet) from my mother. After doing some research on some of the typical sites we cannot come up with any matches or a name for the doll. The clothing on the doll looks original, the hair is black and curly, all the porcelain looks very well maintained, and is 16" in height. Any help would be greatly appreciated on the history of this doll. Thank you. WILLIAM and RACHEL

Maggie made many characters not all having names just a talented creative artist in 1960-70s . I have had a few of her dolls Called Pixies and she wrote a book on Pixies that is a wonderful children's book . She made molds of her sculpting also and kits in which you could paint blank molds and make the clothes , She has a following of collectors . Always hard to know if she painted the doll or someone in a ceramic class . Now I wonder where I put my Pixie's I will post if I find them packed .

Just a guess but would say she named Mammy from other names she gave dolls
