This is my first Kralik.19cm tall.A seller didn`t believe it is Kralik, because of the sign "Czechoslovakia".I think he wasn`t aware what this sign means for Kralik lovers.
The vase has a chip, but paradoxically it allowed me to discover, how the waves were created.Under the transparent cobalt glass there is a bright yellow wave. These two leyers give green. The cobalt leyer must have been put precisely as at the same time it made a cobalt border .The surface is smooth and glossy whereas the body inside is wavy like optical glass.
very beautiful!!!!
Thanks Sean,You`re an early bird :-)
ive been up since a little after 3 am and went to bed around 7pm or a little after 7pm.
Your very welcome Ivonne!!
Kralik Wave indeed. Cool piece!
