Chinese Lantern 1920s

Yes, I have this hanging in my den. It is a 1920s Chinese Lantern that is well-worn, well-used but in my eyes wonderful! I imagine this when it was brand new and hanging outside at a Gatsby- type affair complete with flappers and bathtub gin. According to a note on the bottom, one half says "long life" and the other "health and happiness." I sure hope its magic is working right now above my head. Does anyone else think that this is cool?
