the boy is 31" high. the lamp weighs33 pounds. It was left in a house that we bought. The previous owners came from Italy. I noticed Pieri lamps on these pages before and would like to know more about the lamp. It is in perfect condition so I am really happy with it. It is quite a conversation piece. we call it Boy Blue.

I found out that the lamps were made in the 60's and imported from Italy

I recently bought a Pieri lamp at a furniture consignment store. Trying to do some research on it and hoping to find a mate. I've learned that each lamp is signed with a copyright and date. So yours is dated 1966 - that's a 66, not GG. Please post if you've found any additional info about your lamp or the Pieri company. Thanks!

to dbk72, Thanks for letting me know that there is a 66 on my lamp. I was looking for information on G.G. Pieri. Is your lamp identical to mine? I wonder how many there are. It is so heavy that I wouldn't think would be very many

I posted this two years ago. I was wondering if the other lamps mentioned here were just like mine and where they came from, like U.S. or Italy. mine was brought from Italy with the couple that use to own my house, which surprises me because it is so heavy

Hi boyblue. My lamp is different and it was made in 1999. Cant figure out how to post a pic. I think these lamps may all be unique, since each one is signed. I'm not sure where it was made, I assumed U.S. Mine is also very heavy.

I downloaded my 66 pieri lamp. Same size and very heavy also. It's a girl in blue. Looks like yours. Check out my picture and please let me know if there is anything you can tell me about it. Thank you.

Made by the Pieri family in the 60s in Philadelphia . Girolomo, my grandfather, was the owner of the business that back than was mostly new immigrants from hillside Tuscan towns.
