THIS IS BELIEVED TO BE BRENTLEIGH WARE HAND PAINTED POTTERY VASE BUT THE MARKINGS DO NOT MATCH. EVEN THOUGH IT IS IN ROUGH SHAPE. THIS IS BELIEVED TO BE THE WINDSOR MODEL. EVERY OTHER PIECE IS CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE COMPANY NAME AND SAYS MADE IN ENGLAND. THE WORDING ON THIS IS JUST ENGLAND AND THERE IS A NUMBER THAT IS VERY HARD TO READ. BUT IT LOOKS LIKE H 9325 ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. IT STANDS 8 1/4 INCHES HIGH TOP OPENING IS 4 3/4" AND THE BASE IS 4.5 INCHES. THIS IS BELEIVED TO BE HAND PAINTED.

I really don’t know much about this company, so i googled it. From what I’ve seen, compared to yours, the pieces seem to have the same color background glaze continuing onto the base, whereas yours appears to be two different colors, or is it just the light?. I would use a piece of parchment paper or wax paper and a pencil or crayon and do a “rubbing” of the base. You might see more info that way.
Also the amount of glaze loss looks like it may have been cold painted, rather than painted then fired, which is odd to me.

PS .Howard pottery in Staffordshire made Brentleigh, so maybe it’s an earlier pice and the H refers to the company name? You an also check the potteries.org, a great resource for Staffordshire pottery

Thank you for your help Mary but the markings do not match that. I believe this an incised marking after seeing examples. The word England only also helps instead of it saying "made in England"
