Weird item, reminds of a spyglass, but as looking through it, objects seem to be far away not closer. Seems to be old, made of copper. It has no mark on to refer its origin to. Yet there are signs that it had been fixed on something. Width 32,5 cm
Was it meant for some sort of gun for aiming? Does anyone know what it might be?
Do the large knobs turn?
Are you looking in the right end? LOL! Bet you have been waiting for that.
WOW!! No wonder I can't see you blunderbuss...... I didn't know about right end or left end. Hehehehehe!
Sorry but walksoftly is getting knobby here. That is why I didn't address him. Big knob? Small knob? Sounds kinky.

Fhr, you're obviously in prime time tonite! LOL!! You know I take my Sunday Hash Brownie Tours & will catch up with you in 36 1/2 mins.
Agh, why doesn't it enlarge? I've had only a few experiences with doing cadastre's.
aghcollect, that was what I was thinking too, but didn't understand why it would make things look farther away.
Maybe for a far sighted surveyor. Luckily I don't need glasses even at my age (unless I need to see something). Just joking. The eyes are good but other parts are giving trouble!! LMAO!!
Does it have cross hairs in it?
