    I love the covers on these rare and hard to find Shadowland Magazines from the 1920s. I have no idea what the cover with the goose means but it is very interesting!

      I would frame these.
      Excuse my ignorance but what type of magazine was Shadowland?

      I am sorry. I should explain more. It was a movie magazine that, I think, was published before Motion Picture Classic. It was very artistic with artistic poses, tinted pages, very classy....I guess that it why it did not last very long. They are very hard to find intact because people framed pages after ripping them apart. The pages also became easily discolored and brittle. I am lucky to have these two! The covers on all of them were fantastic. Look at the few on ebay currently.

      Wow. I looked and can't believe the price...yours (2nd pic) looks to be in better shape, not faded like the one listed! Very nice.
