This shape was done for Max Emmanuel & Co., London, and is not attributed to a particular designer, but to my eye was almost certainly influenced by the managing director Eduard Prochaska. This particular design came in three different sizes, and PN II-6234 (ca. 1908) is the medium sized version, at ten inches tall. The design also comes in other color combinations, and was even produced in tango colors several years later. This vase is mold-blown in candia (clear) glass with orange iridescence, with cobalt silberiris applied hand-tooled base and three bars or branches wrapped by a cobalt silberiris serpent. Fire polished rim and ground and polished pontil mark.
