These are part of some olive trees I have, these trees are between 200-300 years old. The previous owner wanted to chop these beautiful trees down and plant Mango. Mango are the in thing in Spain at the moment, everybody is planting them! Luckily we managed to buy the land.
This plot is a lovely area, the wild flowers are blooming and the smell of wild herbs is wonderful. In the morning I search for wild Asparagus, lovely.
We also have another plot of land with nothing growing, we are planning on planting Olive, Almonds, Apricots, some Lemon and Limes and other variety of nuts trees.
I hope you don't mind me sharing these pics.
Many thanks for looking
These pics are on topic... 200/300 years old trees are antiques!
So, you produce olives and almonds? I envy you for spring coming in your area...
Near Paris, it is still cold and wet, my garden is a muddy mess, even the dogs want to stay inside home :-)
Yes Kyra, we are lucky. At the moment it's miserable, Cold and damp last night it went down to 4. But I'm not complaining, lol.
Thanks for your comment and love:-))

It looks wonderful peasejean55! It's really beautiful at your place!
It does have its downfalls, on Sunday my St Bernard, Bella, was bitten by a snake, normally the snake would scrapper, but Bella probably got to close beening nosey, the result was she was bitten. she'll probably have to go to the Vets for the rest of this week. The swelling as gone down, thank goodness.
Luckily In Spain their is only one poisonous snake, an Adder. If it would have been in other Countries I've lived she would have probably died.
There is also Processary Caterpillars which are deadly for animals, horrible nasty creature. To be honest I was more concerned that she'd been in contact with them, there would have been a bigger problem, as it is it was a snake, sounds a big deal, but better than the Caterpillar.
What a beautiful place ... I love love olives
Yes it is a lovely place ozmarty, we are planning on planting more, unfortunately I won't be around to see them growing into these wonderful trees you see in this photo. They are precious.
Many thanks
