    EDIT:
    NOT JENS PETERSEN!
They were not made by a Danish designer, nor were they made by a Navajo silversmith, they were made by a company call Pacific Jewelry Manufacturing Co. between the years of 1962 to 1984. http://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=72147577&caseType

I feel it beeing old, but not sure if really Art Nouveau era...
Any idea for identification of maker?

Marked sterling and maker's mark JP entwined.

9.2 grams, heavy! Stand 1/2" above finger.
The silver ball is hollowed in the back, this older post stated it is a perfume ring, but not sure!

Has anyone verified what Jens Petersen's trademark that he used was? I ask as it is not the conjoined JP mark everyone is saying it is. When you Google it, this is just another case of no one knowing and everyone just copying what they read someone else stated. Jens Petersen's mark would have a Danish assay mark along with his registered maker's mark which is J. Petersen. Noted here http://www.nobelantik.dk/2solv_maerker_j.html. The mark on these orb rings is an American maker's mark from the 1960's to 1970's. They o called 'orb' or 'perfume' rings are actually copies from Art Nouveau designs that were set with round stones...the whole ring was copied and hollowed out and then mass produced. The manufacturer did this tupe of copying on many similar designs along with Southwestern style rings. If you Google "Jen's Petersen orb ring" or the NA Navajo silversmith "Jane Yikaazba Popovitch orb" who has a very similar JP mark you will see many listings of these organic orb style rings. They were not made by a Danish designer, nor were they made by a Navajo silversmith, they were made by a company call Pacific Jewelry Manufacturing Co. between the years of 1962 to 1984. http://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=72147577&caseType=SERIAL_NO&searchType=statusSearch
