"Balanced" Trolling Reel 12139 Woodbine Detroit 23 Mich.
From my mom about her father who made these trolling reels.
I believe 12139 Woodbine was the shop that dad ( Claude Kinsey) and Charley Phelps bought when they were thinking of going into business together. I remember going with my dad on Saturdays when he worked in the shop. They were planning on having a balancing machine business. Guess it just didn’t work out. That is really something that someone has been searching for information on dad’s trawling reel. Who wants to answer him?

Dad had the aluminum frames cast in Howell. He applied for a patent but don’t think he ever followed it through. Let’s see what the others say.
