It's gorgeous. Rather small, about 6" tall, with a silver label that barely reads "Czechsolvakia" and "Coronet". We can't seem to find any other information and I've scoured all the websites I can find. We acquired through my partner's Mother's estate. Any idea of what it is, age and value would be more than appreciated. I am new to this site. Thanks in advance!
stunning !!!!!
Thank you! We think so, too. Any idea? Also, I'm having difficulty posting these photos right side up. My MAC shows it correctly in Preview, but it keeps coming up sideways. Hmmmm.
your very welcome , im no expert on this kind of glass but there will be others that can help!!!
This is a Loetz Marie Kirschner Cobalt Papillion Paddle Handle Vase. I own one also. Love it!

Oh wow! It IS a Loetz! Thank you! You are the first one to be able to tell me. Awesome! Do you know an approximate age? Mid-century?
It is in perfect condition. No chips or cracks. Any idea of it's value?
Rainy, you vase was made after 1918 and is a series III. The value is subject and on CW we are not allowed to discuss prices. There is one on eBay right now

Oh, okay. Sorry, I'm new. I'll check it out. Thanks very much for the information! I have two others that I am going to post soon.
The Loetz decor name for this vase is "Papillon" and the color is "cobalt". It was made c 1920 -30's. The handles are "candia" colored. You can find several examples of these on Loetz.com in the "Papillon Deco" category. http://www.loetz.com/decors-a-z/papillon/papillon-deco
Thank you, LoetzDance! Yes, I did some more research yesterday on this piece. We are sooooo thrilled to finally discover it's history. We now think that this vase must have been given as a new wedding gift to his Mom and Dad because of the date made. It's in perfect condition. Still with the label on it.
I know it has been a long time ... but on the off chance do you have a copy of the Coronet sticker, please ???
It is Loetz. This bowl is part of a series of heavy vases and bowls made with broad applied handles beginning in 1936 (and probably for a few years after, according to Bohemian Glass 1880-1940 (Cantz). I believe yours is Ausfûhrung 8 : “Cobalt papillon mit breiter Silberiris Henkelauflage.”
