French Iridescent Gallo Vase

I bought this in France last summer. It's clear glass with surface frosting on it, except for the base which is clear and has a ground out pontil. There are pale pink lines running round it.....much closer together towards the base. Both top and bottom of the flared rim are textured and noticably iridescent.

The label reads GALLO. The first L of GALLO forms the legs of a stylised cockerel.....the national animal of France.

Unfortunately the only Gallo I can find manufactures laboratory glassware! Of course the company may once have also made art glass. There is a lot of wear on the base.
