Forget the NEW ........ iPADS, iCLOUDS, iMACS, iPODS, and the iPHONES.
... A long, long, long time ago - technology came to us with the very first *i* product. The iRON. Sleek styling, smooth gliding, manual use, no cord tangling, fast heating, single use, hard metal body, durable and time consuming.
So never forget - WE older folks also lived in the * i-GENERATION * too....LOL. We had the iRON. Make sure you tell you kids that!!

Having some fun as I post this Vintage Iron ( iRON ). Still works good, as can use it in a pinch here if needed. Quality vintage items seem to last as made so much better in those days. Hope you enjoyed this post of my old vintage iRON....LOL

Actually own three or four of these myself, some are even older than the one in the photo, and they all work. Our grandmothers lives, eh?

That was the a great post. All the Women in my Family had this iRon as I was growing up. Sure wished they still made them. I am on the Hunt for 2 of them 1 for me and a friend of mine has been looking as well.
Guess I need to look in my area for my Antique Malls and keep checking our online Auction sites.
