The first plate is by Jackson China, measures 5.75 inches (14.3Cm), and dates from September 1966. The second is by Shenango China. It measures 6.25 inches (15.6Cm) and was made in January, 1967.
I am not familiar with either pattern, and any help in identifying these would be most appreciated.
Sadly, neither Jackson nor Shenango are with us any longer….
Thank you, aghcollect…you are so kind…...

Hi, agh! Thanks for looking into the pattern for me. Yes the color is the same, but I'm still not sure of the pattern's name :( Lawrence Ware on the back may be the name of the distributor who provided Shenango China to different restaurants. Often you will see distributors print on the back of such items.
I'm not sure if it's true across the board, but the only time that I've pattern names on the items is when a manufacturer made a sample set of a specific pattern.
I do appreciate you looking into this for me! You are very kind, and I appreciate your help.
Thank you, aghcollect…..
Does yours say Lawrenceware in the mark? - Apparently Shenango produced several lines of china with trade names like Lawrence Thriftware, Lawrence Vitrified, and Lawrence Ware;
Lawrence Vitrified was made from 1940's - 1954
Lawrence Ware was made from 1954 - 1963
Lawrence Thriftware was made from 1954 - 1963
Hi, agh…no my plate is not marked with "Lawrence". Thanks for your help in helping me with this. Isn't it good that things like Collectors' Weekly exists, where we can share our treasures and learn more about them, as well as other subjects? Thank you very much!
The Jackson gray design is called Clifton.
Thank you, kaudet…I appreciate the input!
