Another part of lorgnette/optical collection.
This color was called "eau du Nil" and was the rage at this time!
For an oldest flapper who needs glasses to read tiny writing (not me, lol!)
It bears french hallmark "charançon" (flour bug), 1893/1990, for foreign silver, 935, a model number 7, and a partial maker's mark B.

My father was an EENT doctor & my mother collected antique eyeglasses. She would frame them & hang them in his waiting room. This is a style she never could find & would have loved it. Brings back memories of those days. Thanks!
A bit more elaborate framing than her's but they looked great. I still do shadow boxes sometimes.
