3 Welz spatter trophy vases presented for your delectation. All have oxblood as a signature colour, the leftmost one has dollops of green aventurine.
They are 17.5 and 18.5cms - that old 0.5cm for good luck.

These are nice. They must have been popular or survived well, I see them fairly often (the opposite of your last post, lol.)

You have quite an extensive Welz collection, Ian! These are great examples - thanks for sharing them!

Thanks. I think you're right - you very commonly find these trophy forms. Octagonal bases, aventurine, tango colours or coloured handles are all more unusual.

This shape is found in a decor identified as Ruckl.

Eempirical Welz research ignores this fact.

I have previously seen the group which you posted. I am not sure that it adds very much to the lengthy contributions to this issue.

I would quote, as an example, Leah's contribution which omits that the vase shapes are similar but different inter pictures 2 and 3/4.

The vase in the middle to which Charcoal apparently loves to refer to, is actually an example in my personal collection of Welz.

I am referring to his link in his comment.
