Some interesting Reading on Lavorazione Arte Murano.

      Just want to clarify:
Basically it is made in Italy (but NOT on the island of Murano) so *not* true Murano Glass - and (supposedly) made in the Style of Murano....but the true quality just is not there when compared to Real Murano. The links should help to explain.

I just wanted to clarify that as so many people do believe this is True Murano glass. Nice piece - will still display well.

Yes antiquerose, completely agree, when I compared with my two other post early last month, not feel heavy, and not as good quality.
It's a process of learning on those glass pieces.
Many thanks for the comment and love..
      Regards

It's a beautiful bowl. I think part of the distinction is in the weight of the glass as Murano tends to do heavier pieces. These Lavorazione pieces are lighter but I would argue nicely done. I own both. :)

Regardless of the maker Alan, it's a beautiful bowl!

Many thanks, katherinescollections for the comment and the love.
Yes I agree, for having few more, better quality, but this one when I grab it, I don't feel this quality, but I still love it.
