    Hi guys this was also from the estate of a recent US Veteran. I need some assistance to ID this patch which i think is a jacket patch due to it's size. Marked VAN-27 VC-35 and "Where'd he go George" from a character most of us are familiar with Droppy! My guess it's Vietnam but I'm not sure.

      I was able to figure out this is a Korean War era Squadron Patch. This particular Squadron patch is connected to the pilots who flew the Douglas Skyraiders. This patch itself was given from March 3,1954 thru October 11, 1954. Also called the night Hecklers these group flew mostly night missions.
