Blenko 12" Amethyst Lobed Bowl /Circa 21st Century

I found this interesting 12" bowl at Volunteer's of America yesterday. Made by Blenko, it's super heavy and a beautiful dark amethyst color. The bottom has three straps of glass the form each of the lobes. Lots of air bubbles and imperfections with a rough textured exterior. It still carries it's original clear label which ID's it as 2000 and later, but this color was only produced in certain years. So while not the vintage 30's to 60's glass everyone looks for it's still a quality piece. -Mike-

Blenko Amethyst was produced in the following years: 1935 - 1957, 1961 - 1962, 1991 - 2005.
