    Found today thrifting this heavy glass decanter 7" in tall. Not sure if this is a image of a Russian or Indian? Hope some one knows their history of costumes I do not? Help!

      Just as guess from my limited knowledge. I would guess Cossack. As a side-note, they were chosen for the Imperial guard to the Czar. I personally knew one in the late 50's & finally got him to open up a bit. The experiences he shared were incredible & he still had a price on his head at the time. Anatol von Spekovski, if you care to look him up O/L. Incredible friend & incredible, confirmed stories! I'll never forget him!       It's Bohemian and is I think! one of the Sultans..not sure which one but have a look for Nasr al-Din Shah or Sultan Abdul Hamid II....if not one of those it might lead you to the right one...:-)
