HAPPY VALENTINES DAY Any experts on butterflies I bought Them because they were so pretty. The two small ones say made in Brazil. Anymore. More information would be greatly appreciated. The guy said the small ones are from the 50s and the bigger could be a lot older.

The ones in the second picture seem to have come away from their mounts - if you can get the backs off, you can 'carefully' remount them with a hot-glue gun. The first picture definitely looks to be from Brazil , also can be remounted with hot-glue to the glass backing. Basically, you can value the bigger one by how many butterflies are in total, usually $10 per specimen.

That first one is great. Has at least one blue morpho in it with the solid blue wings. If it is blue on one side and brown on the underside it is a morpho. I doubt if it is 50 years old though as they make these currently.

If you want them identified, I would be happy to do so. Just send me photos that are close up, showing all the butterflies in each one.
