I think this is one of the best Art Deco clocks that were produced during the era. This electric clock is called "Mirage," and it was designed by John Rainbault for the General Electric Company, circa 1930's. This rare clock is made of black vitrolite glass with a mirrored center design and numerals. The center design reminds me of waves, and the mirrored silver numerals are pure Art Deco. This clock also comes in a cream colored version with brass colored numerals.
Design doesn't get better than this.
I saw both versions on ebay and was very tempted...love it!!!
