i think that this is a beautiful mid century painting. i picked it up at a flea market in San Francisco. there's quite a bit of craquelure in the glaze. i think it shows a lot of talent. it's signed, but i don't recognize it. do you?

thanks Alan2310! it looks like Kitilern or Kitilery. i came up w/ zip on google for that name though. this painting is so well made and it's larger / more detailed than the others.

i found this online. i think that this painting was done between 1968 and 1972.

Was born in Chacherngsao Province, Thailand in 1944. He completed his secondary education in Rajkarul Mooniti School Thonburi, and began his aart study at Silpa Thai Art School in Bangkok in 1963. He is now working as an independent artist. Kitilerk always likes to paint in natural surroundings, and likes to work with a palette knife. His paintings depict rural landscapes, farm houses and life on the canals. He exhibited his works in many major exhibitions in Bangkok. His paintings were also seen at a charity exhibition in aid of the Foundation for the Welfare of the Crippled under the Royal Patronage of H.R.H, the Princess Mother, the exhibition has been held recently at the Siam Society.
