I found this in a local shop. I love the art-deco gazelle but I am not sure about the time period these were produced. I was surprised to find the unused ribbon inside.

L.C. Smith merged with Corona in 1926 to become Smith-Corona. Your tin and ribbon probably predates 1926. - A L.E. Smith tin (but with a different emblem) recently sold for almost $90.
