I found this inSanta Ynez Ca. It has a 12 coil spring cushion, with connecting wires. I intend to refurbish the cushion when I finish cleaning the chair. I am looking to discover the origin and age of this Rocker. Perhaps someone can direct me where to go to find the history of the maker. I like the chair because it is strong, simple clean lines and not ornate. It reminds me of the life I have lived. :)

Oak Craft Ramsey-Alton Rocker, Portland Michigan - this one looks to be the same as your except it has four slats on back instead of your three.

Company was only in business for about 15 years - circa early 1900's to 1918

Thank You all for IDing this chair. Both comps are close, the cushions and the back slats are different, but close. The Seal was the positive ID Thanks again. That makes this Rocker 100 years old :) I would like to hear some of the stories this Rocker could share :) Nice piece
