Found at small lot of these animals at a local thrift store. Marked "Germany."
I'm not sure of the material, who manufactured, or when.

Same as your elephant, plomb de Nuremberg, like Vienna bronzes, but cheapest.
For time period, end of 19th to first quarter 20th :-)
