I did some looking for info yesterday, but had no luck.
Thankyou walksoftly i cant find 1 anywhere either, very strange, thankyou for looking for me.
Hi: Can you open the knife, and take some photos of the blade? I found this link by using key words : "Vintage German Pocket Knife, with slide to open button", so you may have a Goodie there, beside's being a Great Keepsake from your Grandpa !

hi walksoftly,i couldnt workout when my knife was made ?
Hi lovelythings
No earlier than 1925, I don't know how long they produced that knife.
If you could find catalog or advertisement references it may give you a more precise timeline.
You may want to post it on a knife forum, with the info that you have so far. You may get more info that way.
Thankyou so much walksoftly, you have been brilliant.i have contacted the link that lzenglish kindly gave me,so hopefully i will get somemore info on it,once again thankyou so much, this site is amazing, isnt it.
Thank you, always glad to help, I love the research, always learning something.
Keep us posted.
Yes it is a great site with lot's of knowledgeable people.
I sent an email/pic to the makers, not at all helpful all they said was it was probaly made in the 50s and not worth a lot, what a waste of time that was,a big thankyou to walksoftly and lzenglish for their help :)
Unfortunately not all manufacturers are very helpful, or you just got someone that wasn't to interested in helping.
