Well I've spent the whole of an hour trying to find out about this trunk. I have yet to find anything like it. It's red satin or silk lined inside with no tray or drawers.

You can stop searching you won't find another like it. It is a unique neat shape , I can tell you that it is covered in more modern handle and hinge hardware. The upholstery nails on the leather can be bought at your local hardware store as well,(probably the red velvet too).. Homemade, good chance one of a kind, kinda cool, not old though.Looks like someone enjoyed ripping down hardwood .
