This was my maternal grandmother's ring when she was a baby / young child. She was born in 1911 and passed away several years ago. It's been kept on a necklace as a charm and I am going to post separately about one of the other items.

It has three ruby gemstones, is golden in color, and is marked "Sterling" with the hallmark "M-H" flanked by arrows (one before M, one after H). Does anyone know what that stands for?

Can't be, she was born in 1911 and it was her ring as a baby / young child.

I also have a ring with the mh mark with two arrows on each side. Definitely think it's older than the fifties as well but I can't find anything either!

Hello, I have the same mark on a 5-1/2 blue topaz ring. Did you ever find out who the maker is? and year? My ring looks art deco.

Still searching. Since I know she wore it as a young child, it must be around 1915 - 1920. Definitely not McGrath-Hamin from the 1950s, I looked up that mark and it's different http://www.925-1000.com/americansilver_M2.html

SMD- I was helping my gma look for info on a ring she had. She believed it was her moms. My great Grandmother was born in 1920. My gma has this exact Ring SMD. Do happy to find another pic of it.

I have the exact ring, with the same logo stamp, but instead of being produced in silver it is gold plated. Is it possible that it could have been your mother’s ring and there was a miscommunication about who it belonged to? It would make sense to me to keep my daughter’s baby ring after she could no longer wear it due to growth.
