katherines…
(247 items)
Since it seems the jewelry people are about, thought I would post these pretties. As near as I can recall, got them in a yard sale about 20, 30 years ago. No markings. The first one, the gilt is flaking off, unfortunately. The second one, there are a few stones missing. The third, one stone is missing. One and three are AB, so post mid-50s. I've researched them off and on over the years and can't find any matches. I've seen the pink one in different colors multiple times but either misidentified as Weiss, or unidentified. Any information, ideas, guesses, suggestions, tips, recipes, lol, welcome. Hope you enjoy looking at these, I know I do!

Peasejean, pinks are a favorite of mine, too, especially these bright fuschia pinks. Glad you like the butterfly! :)

Cindy, I missed your comment earlier, thank you for the compliment, my dear! :)
We need to check with Kyratango how to fix gilt. Gold nail polish? I do really like that round brooch..... and of course the flutterby!
Thanks for the love, surfdub66. :)
Thanks, racer4four, kyra is the bomb jewelry saver for sure. Yes, the round brooch is a real beauty, the mix of silver gilt, pearls and AB is quite appealing. As for the flutterby, this particular design is very lovable, I think. :)
Hi friends! I'm grateful for your compliment about salving works ;-)
I'm not a costume jewellery specialist and didn't face to flaking gilding, but on this I wouldn't use nail polish! It would spread anywhere around the stones...
When I bought the Medaillion liquid silver, I saw this:

Don't know at all if it will work on the round brooch, and above all if it won't ruin the aurora borealis coat....
Hi Kyra,
A friend of mine bought that kit. She said it was good for some pieces but not all... Apparently there is a bit of buffing involved too... The video makes it look so much easier than my friend told me.
I am thinking about getting it and giving it a try.
Kyra... What is SUDE FRANCE?
UUh, in what subject? Could it be South of France?
I bought a really gorgeous brooch... It's a flying bird and on the bottom it says: SUDE FRANCE... I wanted to do some research before posting it.
Katherine... Sorry, we have hijacked your post...
never heard of it, search gave nothing on my google...
Sorry Katherine! ;-)
Oh no please, I learn from what you are posting. :))

Yes mam your broachs are made by MIRACLE JEWELRY CO. I have a multicolored one and love it.Always look at tip of prongs you'll see an M which stands for Miracle.
Thanks for the love, aura. :)
Thank you for that information, bronzelover, next time I have the brooches out where I can see them, I will look for that hallmark. I own a pendant made by Miracle, that is clearly stamped, didn't know about the other style hallmark. :)
