The pot is fabulously ornate. I would love to know more about it! It came from a local estate sale in Ocean City Maryland and has obviuosly been heavily used as the inside is darkly tea stained and the bottom looks to have been repaired (soldered) because of a leak. I have researched it to the best of my abilities and concluded it is British alloy electro-plate. The Bugle mark and the makers mark indicate it is was made by James Dixion and Sons in Sheffield England. the 0 and the 2 bracketing the bugle may indicate the date...1902? But I haven't seen anything like the design on line. JD&S designs seem much simplier than the complex pot with twining Morning Glory handle and finial in my possession! Any information would be wonderful.
