I have this very beautiful guilded sewing machine it's called The Ideal B
It is 3/4 size
It's says English made on base plate and also the number 313343 on a little metal plaque .
I cannot find one like it on google images .
I can find ideal b but nothing like mine.
Please could anyone please tell me more as who made it ,age ,if it is common or rare .
It is very beautiful and I love it. It's fulling working and I even have all the accessories in a little box by the side of the crank handle.,that includes .screwdriver, oil can, spare feet ,needles,.this box fits in a little recess in base with a slide over door.
Here's someone that would probably know: alexsussex@aol.com

I had an 1930s singer sewing machine that looked similar to that design. Yours is in better shape than mine was.
Singers do look just like it,but I asked a collector and she said she wasn't aware of any singer machines made without there name on it. Also singer cases tend to be domed and marked singer.this hasn't any .please help me !
Also mine is not full size .
This machine is a Jones Family CS badged as Ideal B.
It has really good graphics. Nice little machine.
Bernadette ,do you know how old it is ? Are they common or rare ? Or possible value ?
Thank you Bernadette, this information is great ,I have now done my own research and I think the serial number 313343 dates to around 1920-1924 .
I now have a Name and date . I don't think its valuable ,but it is to me . I love it .
