This beauty was in a charity shop for £3. I thought she was awesome so bought her ..
There are two stickers inside which are just about readable
One says - made in U.S.S.R the other TEKT..
I FOUND HER ON GOOGLE !! YIPPEE:-)

CindB- i thought the same !! She has that look , she's about 13"h , i couldnt read the stickers till i got home & looked with magnification. .

Took a bit of time but I think I have the solution:
Tallinna Ehituskeraamika Tehas (TEKT, 1956-1991)
These days we wold call it Estonia.
It began as a brick factory in 1949. Then moved onto ceramic tiles and then into art pottery. Closed in 1991.
These pieces we see today were part of a series called "ARS".
Artists there included: Maimu Vain, Leo Rohlin, Mall Valk, Anu Rank-Soans, Anne Keek, Velda Soidla, Marget Tafel, Delay Väljaots Annika Teder, Ingrid Allik , Meedi Round et al.

It might be a design by Ellinor Piipuu ?
You get more info by using this "TEKT-i"
Another possibility for the artist is Aino Alamaa (1908-1996)
I'm leaning towards her.
