    (1101 items)

Antique Marionette. Notice holes drilled into hands for wires to be attached. There is also a eye hook on the top of his hat. He is fairly tall and difficult to photograph but here he is...
    He is from England.

You may be right! Do you have a real specific specialty for collecting or just horizonally diversified?

Stunning....I would have thought France. Looks like Papier Mache. I (IMHO) think you may have something really (really) special.....maybe??

May we see how his legs are made....etc??

antiquerose, He may have been made in France. The previous owner found him in England I will attempt to get more photos on today. His legs are wooden and jointed. His boots are not exactly the same size. I think that someone replaced the buttons on his coat. His hat brim has been repaired at some point in time. He appears to be very old.

He’s quite dapper, vintagelamp! 1900-ish? So what if anyone thinks you’re a hoarder! Lol! You just have a love of and an eye for very interesting items! Thanks for sharing!
