The shape of this piece is not published in the Loetz paper pattern books, but I believe this attribution is pretty safe, because the decor and color are both known to have been done by Loetz. Striefenmartelé is simply a martelé piece with vertical optical ribs (striped martelé). The color is called Makart, which according to Loetz Bohemian Glass 1880-1940 is a "reddish Aurora" (Aurora being a pink opal color). The last photo shows the vase next to an early Loetz vase that is documented and confirmed to be a Loetz Makart decor (IV/103). The colors are identical. "Makart verlaufend" translates to "spreading makart" - the vase is more red at the top, shading to almost clear at the bottom. I believe this is an early example. Some later examples of Streifenmartelé on an Olympia ground were done for Bakalowits in Vienna.
