I found this little three inch by three inch or around that thin copper lid trying to identify what it was and how old found in creek while rock hunting it has three tiny hinges on side and tiny lip around it to fit on a box it has a shield imprint with four images within a four scroll bundle orfasciest symbol a oak leaf a all saint symbol and a square faded but image still visable- unknown?
May help if you tell where you found it. Interesting. CW covers a lot on continents & countries.

I was guessing Europe or maybe Canada. I'm lost now!
Me too find a lot a arrowheads ect
My guess is early to mid 18th cent. French. Maybe lost during the French & Indian war.
