The first two commemorate the Josten's convention of 1977, which was held in New Orleans, LA. Made of Aluminum, these 4.5 by 3.75 inch (11.3 by 9.5Cm) ashtrays were functional as well as colorful.
Doing some research on this, it seems that Josten's had been issuing ashtrays as a memento of their conventions from at least the 1950s.
The Torre Palace Hotel is 6.5 inches in diameter (16.4Cm) and is made of glass.
Though smoking is on the decline, such ashtrays can be repurposed into containers for other items. And, such tobacciana items are usually pretty good as collectibles.
awesome ashtrays!!
Thank you, my friend!

Good evening, J, thank you very much for your love of these items!
there's a Josten's just a couple miles down the road from me; been there for as long as I can remember. Think they mostly print announcements and stuff...
That's interesting, TallCakes, around what areas that?
