Another piece bearing the design cues of Iwata Toshi.
I'm sure you can see the similarity to my bowl recently posted,

When I first saw this lamp for sale I nearly snorted coffee out of my nose.
You have my permission to do similar because it is a bit odd! It's like someone tried to make a lovely lamp out of glass and it melted from the bulb heat. Believe me it does grow on you and the thing is this was a very expensive and popular lamp in Japan in the 60s.

Whatever the style - the glass is well made!

Now that is different!! I love it karen. Looks like the top part is heavier than the bottom - but probably not eh? Just looks that way?

Yeah - top looks like it was melted.....but NOT for Real. Neat, thanks for the Post!!

      It's a kak isn't it!
It is actually quite stable. Haven't tried it yet as I need to get it changed from 110 to 240v.

Look neat IF the base could be wired to light up too........with a small bulb like a 40 watt or less.

Thanks Ivonne. I do love it (now) but not sure if it fits my home well. Hmmm.

SD, VL and Katherine - again thanks! In truth I like it too and am glad it's slight strangeness appealed to you as well. Karen

I love the way the shade drapes! Almost appears as if the wind is gently hitting it.
