This lamp is very light greenish blue on the base with hand painted dark blue scene. A boy with a toy boat, palm trees, housing, what looks like a hunter on horse about to get some sort of animal?? Any help with time period and origin would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

I don't think it started as a lamp. Maybe a vase turned into a lamp? Without any pictures of the bottom it's hard to tell.

I was thinking the same. The bottom is covered with a protective felt cover. I guess I could remove this but wasn't wanting to take anything from it if I did not have to. Thank you for the response.
