Yesterday, Sergio and me went to the antiques and artisan market. We bought several thinks, and it was a long time since we could buy something there. This beautiful vase was bought in a shop whose owner is Beatriz Riga with another vase (previous post). Here you can have an idea of the place in a Saturday day http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1487836.
As all the colored glasses it was sold as Murano, but I knew it was not. Also I am sure it was not made here in Argentine, though carnival, cased cut and Tango glass were produced profusedly during the 20’s 30’s, because of the raspberry prunts and the green apple color. I was pretty sure it is Bohemian but I was not able to find something similar on the web, but finally Ivonne very profesionally helped me to identify it. The glass is heavy and of three layers, from inside to outside, white, green and clear. The prunts really look like raspberries and the black over the pale green is a great contrast.
beautiful!!
Just lovely....I think you have a treasure there.
thanks to all for loves and comments
Hi,Silvia,I did a small research on Czech websites and this is what I found .It's not identical but seems to confirm your thoughts about Bohemia.http://www.dumabyt.cz/image.php?source=&img=/obrazek/clanek15570/200_2.11.jpg&title=V%C3%A1za%20oran%C5%BEov%C3%A1%20s%20%C4%8Dernou%20linkou%20a%20%C4%8Dern%C3%BDmi%20n%C3%A1lepy.%20%C4%8Cechy%201910-1920.%20
On the other hand I've seen such prunts on Poschinger's pieces ...
Thanks Ivone for your research I do not understan Czech
hi, kivatinitz, great vase and just here to tell you the easy way to translate a web page.
1. Go to Google translate: https://translate.google.com/
2. Copy and paste the URL (web address) that Ivonne gave you into the box on the LEFT (starting with http://) on Google translate
3. Click the URL that now appears in the RIGHT box and it will go to the page and will be translated into English (by default) or whatever language you choose above it (before you click the URL in the right box).
The translation is: "Vase orange with black lines and black fusions. Bohemia 1910-1920."
And here is the translated web page:

Lovely.
Did Murano do many with prunts? Yes maybe youre right there. I've got some one of's in Maurano from the 50'60's and they have two with maybe large prunts maybe not....I love the clear nature of yours, light shining through the inner top with the white case glass?? It's stunning and you are very lucky to have....
